Making the Team: NBC News now has a new team for its Saturday and Sunday edititons of “Today.” National Public Radio’s Scott Simon will join previously reported Jackie Nespral of Univision to co-anchor the programs. The Saturday edition of “Today” will premiere Aug. 1. Simon will continue his affiliation with NPR and will host several upcoming public television programs.
