Horror Over Gun Deaths

Share

You once again blame the “gun lobby” (as if there is such a monolithic entity) for the increasing rate of death among teen-agers 15 to 19 years old. The primary category with high incidence of death by gunfire is the male, black youth, which points directly at gangs. Yet, in a simplistic solution aimed at the symptoms rather than the source of the problems, you call for more controls on guns, instead of attacking the root of the problem--gangs.
