Unocal to Sell PureGro Subsidiary: Unocal Corp. said it is talking with potential buyers for its Sacramento-based PureGro Co. subsidiary, which distributes farm fertilizers. The proposed sale is part of a continued asset restructuring to focus on Unocal’s core energy businesses, said Neal E. Schmale, senior vice president.
