Clary Corp. of San Gabriel recently was awarded a contract to supply the 380 Carl’s Jr. Restaurants in California with the company’s Onguard power system, which is designed to assure a steady flow of electricity.
The battery backup and power regulator will protect the restaurants’ computers and data from power blackouts or surges, officials said.
The company has about 75 employees and has been in operation since 1939, when it made manual calculators.
