CUDAHY : Warning Issued on Missing X-Ray Device
A highly radioactive piece of industrial equipment has been lost in Cudahy, and officials are warning residents not to tamper with the device if it is found.
The device, which is used to X-ray pipes, was last seen at a work site on the corner of Santa Ana Street and Atlantic Boulevard. Workers say the equipment was either stolen or fell out of a work truck.
The missing equipment is about the size of a shoe box and covered with warning stickers.
