In Support of Core Values
The recent action by a few bleeding hearts to sanction the gay lifestyle in that once-venerable institution of America’s youth, the public school system, was disturbing for moral reasons.
More important, though, is the hypocrisy behind such an action. When will the liberal Left realize that embracing declarations like the L.A. Board of Education’s “Gay and Lesbian Month” is a value judgment just as much as school prayer?
This is one more instance of a small, vocal group of malcontents mutilating the Founders’ concept of democracy. These events, the platform of the 1960s, constitute a hypocritical backlash against core values.
