GARDEN GROVE : School Board Seeks Applicants for Seat
The Garden Grove Unified School District is accepting applications for the board seat recently vacated by Maureen DiMarco.
Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. July 21 in the office of the superintendent, GGUSD Education Center, 10331 Stanford Ave. Candidates who wish to address the board regarding their applications may do so at the 7:30 p.m. board meeting on July 21.
An applicant will be chosen to fill the position until the general election in November, 1994. After 10 years as a board member, DiMarco, Gov. Pete Wilson’s education adviser, resigned July 1 to devote more time to her state duties.
