Whether or not you have a “green thumb” touch in the garden, this charming lawn and patio planter will make the most of showing off your flowers and plants.

The planter measures approximately 3 feet from end to end by 2 1/2 feet tall, and has three tiered trays to hold bouquets of freshly cut blooms or potted flowers from the nursery. Move it from sun to shade (or vice versa) with ease, depending on the needs of your flowers and the exposure of your yard or patio.

A full-size traceable plan makes this project easy enough to do in one weekend. First, the parts are traced onto half-inch exterior grade plywood according to the cutting diagram. After cutting and sanding the parts, the planter may be assembled with glue and nails following the step-by-step directions and photos.
