Rosemead : Sheriff’s Substation to Open
A sheriff’s substation will open Saturday at Garvey Park, 7849 Emerson St.
The substation, in a modular trailer, will be staffed by two officers from the Temple City sheriff’s station and will operate during daytime hours. It will provide a more prominent law enforcement presence in Rosemead and allow for easier communication between law enforcement officials and residents, city officials said.
The Rosemead Redevelopment Agency will fund the facility, estimated to cost $13,000 a year.
