La Crescenta : Workshop on Composting

The city of Glendale is sponsoring a composting workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Clark Community Center, 4747 New York Ave.

Composting bins and tools will be given at no charge to Glendale residents who attend.

Bill Roley, director of the Permaculture Institute in Long Beach, will tell how to compost yard trimmings and food scraps.
