One of the U.S. Olympic coaches, Lloyd Woodhouse, was discussing how his team recently became world champions when he said: “When we walk in the door now, we’re looked at with respect.”
Woodhouse coaches the U.S. shotgun team.
Concerning the competition for shooting medals, Woodhouse said: “The Germans and Russians aren’t shooting as well as they used to.
“I said to one of them: ‘What’s the problem?’
“He said: ‘We have to work now.’
“And I said: ‘Welcome to the real world.’ ”
