Who Are the Good, Bad and the Ugly Americans of the Olympics So Far?

Share

Someone at NBC needs to have a long talk with Bob Costas. His commentary on the opening ceremony was a disgrace. He seems to feel that letting the viewers know if a country has ever won a gold medal or not is vital information. He made numerous embarrassing comments about various nations, including one comment about the leader of a small country who is the largest monarch in history and cannot be physically removed from his throne due to his size.

One of the major themes behind the Olympics is to leave the politics and negative feelings at home, an idea of which Mr. Costas apparently is not aware. He made more negative and derogatory comments during the parade of nations than the number of athletes on the United States team.

No gold for you, Bob.
