Of all the U.S. Olympic basketball players, John Stockton gets bothered the least by fans.

Recently, Stockton strolled through the popular Las Ramblas shopping district virtually undisturbed.

Then a woman wearing a “Dream Team” shirt walked toward him, holding her young son’s hand.

The boy looked at Stockton. Then he looked at the cartoon drawing of the 12 U.S. basketball players on his mother’s shirt. Then he looked back at Stockton.

His eyes grew large.

“Mama!” the boy said, tugging at her shirt. He pointed at Stockton. He pointed at the cartoon. “Mama! Mama!”

Quien? “ she asked. (“Who?”)

Stockton smiled, stopped and shook hands with the boy.

The mother, who didn’t appear quite sure who Stockton was, pulled her son’s arm and told him to get going.
