The Debate Over AIDS
Michael Fumento’s article (Commentary, July 28) opposing Dr. Peter Duesberg’s theory on AIDS is excellent but misses one important point:
Duesberg uses his professional title as a shield to further his thinly veiled, religion-based AIDS-phobic and homophobic personal agendas.
In doing so, he deflects attention from education of the public and fosters the spread of HIV by promoting AIDS as a disease that only affects members of certain “high-risk groups.”
