Honig’s Policies

I was sorry to hear that Joseph Carrabino had resigned his post on the State Board of Education (Aug. 2). I hope that the rest of the board will take up his fight to hold Bill Honig accountable for his control over the budget and policy making.

The fact that Honig has been indicted on charges of felony conflict-of-interest in the mishandling of funds should send up a red flag to all of us taxpayers--one person holding the purse strings is not a good idea. How ironic that your story on Carrabino ran along with your detailed analysis, “Where Does Schools’ Money Go?”
