* Cut back all hydrangea stalks that bloomed this year to 12 inches from soil level.

* For beautiful spring blossoms divide and transplant bearded iris this month.

* Pinch off fuchsia seed pods to extend bloom period.

* Plant perennials during the next six weeks for bloom next spring and for years to come.
