Drew to Go: Tina Brown, whose appointment as editor of The New Yorker caused anticipation about major changes at the magazine, said Thursday that Washington columnist Elizabeth Drew will leave in November. Drew has written “Letter from Washington” for the magazine since 1973. “Tina wants to change The New Yorker and that of course is her right, and I wish her and the magazine well,” Drew said in a statement.
