Randall M. Klose, 37, a gay rights activist and fund-raiser who was co-chairman of the Human Rights Campaign Fund. He also helped organize and finance lobbying efforts for the 1988 AIDS Research and Education Act, a cornerstone of the federal AIDS research effort. He helped lead a U.S. contingent to the 1991 Moscow meeting of the International Lesbian and Gay Human Rights Commission, one of the first openly publicized gatherings of homosexuals in Russia.
