Randall M. Klose, 37, a gay rights activist and fund-raiser who was co-chairman of the Human Rights Campaign Fund. He also helped organize and finance lobbying efforts for the 1988 AIDS Research and Education Act, a cornerstone of the federal AIDS research effort. He helped lead a U.S. contingent to the 1991 Moscow meeting of the International Lesbian and Gay Human Rights Commission, one of the first openly publicized gatherings of homosexuals in Russia. Klose became active in the gay rights movement after becoming infected with the AIDS virus. He formerly was a real estate developer. In Washington on Aug. 5 of the complications of AIDS.
