Parking Fines May Reap Extradition
Police want Zimbabwe to extradite a woman for two outstanding parking fines totaling $22, a newspaper said Saturday.
The Saturday Star said Paddy Francis, 50, received a call from South African police at her home in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, warning her of possible extradition because of outstanding traffic offenses.
A friend in the police department did a check and found the only unpaid offenses were two parking tickets issued in 1987, when Francis lived in South Africa, her daughter, Amanda Rynhoud, told the newspaper.
