Cutter’s Way (KTLA Wednesday at 3 a.m.) Ivan Passer’s unjustly neglected 1981 film unfolds much like a Ross MacDonald-Lew Archer mystery--and is set in Santa Barbara, like many of the Archer novels. Quietly, it becomes a powerful indictment of the plight of the neglected Vietnam veteran. With Jeff Bridges, John Heard and Lisa Eichhorn.
