Show of Support for ‘Senior Partners’

Regarding Pamela Warrick’s article “The New Senior Partners” (July 29): I was happy to read that past prejudices concerning age differences between men and women are easing in favor of personal preference, but I was chagrined to see her trot out another long-standing sexual myth. She writes: “Because men reach their sexual peak in their 20s and women in their 30s, there is a certain biological balance.” Baloney. This idiotic claptrap has been around forever, insinuating that women don’t mature enough to enjoy sex until their 30s, while men are forever the sexual Neanderthals.
