VENTURA : 3 Drivers Arrested, 350 Detained at Sobriety Checkpoints
Ventura police arrested three motorists on suspicion of drunk driving at sobriety checkpoints, police said Sunday.
More than 350 drivers were detained and given pamphlets containing information on drunk-driving penalties, police said.
The checkpoints, held throughout the evening Saturday, were conducted at the intersections of Thompson Boulevard and California Street, Main Street and Callens Road, and Telephone Road and Victoria Avenue, police said.
