SURF N BURGER: Don’t look for the familiar Ruby’s restaurant (OC Live!, Page 3) at the end of the newly opened Huntington Beach Pier just yet. A $1.3-million terrazzo-tiled eatery, bait and snack shops to be run by Ruby’s is still on hold while city officials decide which of $8 million in pier projects they want to build first. . . . But, coming soon: a catering truck done up in ‘50s-diner style dispensing malts, fries --and Ruby’s famous burgers.
