I find it difficult to accept Aliza Chelminsky’s facts and conclusions (“Mexican Pact Means More Jobs for All,” Commentary, Aug. 12) especially when nowhere in her column does she mention the reality of Mexican workers’ wages averaging between 75 cents and $1 an hour or Mexico’s extremely bad record regarding pollution. Are these facts going to “ . . . benefit the U.S. worker”?
