Good grief, Elizabeth Morgan (“Big Boy Architecture,” Letters to the Editor, Valley Edition, Aug. 7).

Are you one of the teeming throngs set on turning Los Angeles into one huge mini-mall?

Where is the appreciation for the things of our glorious past?

I’m 26 years old and I never got to enjoy driving through Bob’s Big Boy and the fond memories it created for others. My grandfather helped build the very first Bob’s Big Boy and my mom spent her high school years eating what she recalls as the best hamburger ever.

I bet you think Picasso’s work is ugly too.
