Bush Declares Sept. 10 National DARE Day

WASHINGTON —
President Bush on Wednesday praised Project D.A.R.E., the drug education program for young people, and proclaimed Sept. 10 as National DARE Day.
“I encourage all Americans to observe this day with appropriate programs and activities in celebration of drug abuse resistance education and in honor of the many dedicated professionals and volunteers who have made it possible,” Bush said.
