World-record shotputter Randy Barnes said an official two-year suspension for testing positive for steroids might unofficially stretch much longer. Barnes, who came off suspension Aug. 7, said he was not invited to recent meets in Berlin and Zurich, Switzerland, and also was not invited to an ongoing meet in Belgium.

“They’re discriminating over there,” Barnes said. “They saw I got suspended for two years, and I guess that wasn’t long enough.”
