An NFL economist argued in Minneapolis that the eight players who filed an antitrust suit against the league weren’t damaged by the Plan B free agency system and that their damage claims don’t make sense.
Bruce Owen, a Washington, D.C., economist hired by the owners, said the $4-million damage claim made by the players’ economist, Michael Glassman, is incorrect.
