Motown Launches Jazz Label: Motown Records said it has formed a new record label called MoJazz to spotlight new jazz musicians. The label, which will be launched next month as part of Motown’s 75th anniversary celebration, has already signed Norman Connors, pianist Eric Reed, guitarist Norman Brown and Brazilian jazz group Terra Sul and vocalist Milira. The new label’s first release is Norman Brown’s “Just Between Us.”
