Israel will allow 21 Palestinian families in the occupied West Bank to reopen their sealed houses this month as a goodwill gesture coinciding with Middle East peace talks, an army spokeswoman said. Military authorities in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip have often bricked shut the houses of families of activists in the Palestinian uprising against Israeli rule.
