AFTER THE RIOTS : Requests for Small-Business Loans Due Tuesday; $190 Million Approved So Far
- Share via
Tuesday is the deadline to apply for Small Business Administration disaster loans to replace property damaged or destroyed in the riots of April and May.
Loans totaling $190 million already have been approved by the agency for business and home owners, although the sum actually distributed so far is much lower.
Many people who obtained loan applications have not turned them in. Assistance in filling out the forms is available from a number of organizations.
