FHP to Buy Insurance Company: FHP Corp. said Monday that it has agreed to buy an Anaheim insurance company to administer its 24-hour workers’ compensation program.

The purchase of Great States Financial Corp. for an undisclosed sum will enable FHP, a health maintenance organization based in Fountain Valley, to offer under one roof both workers’ compensation insurance and employee health coverage. FHP says it is the state’s only HMO to offer companies both benefits in one package.
