Newhall Land & Farming Co. said it expects its 1,890-home Westridge residential and commercial project in Valencia to generate more than $600 million in revenue for the company by the time the project is completed several years from now.
The 800-acre project, located west of the Golden State Freeway, was recently approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Newhall Land & Farming is the primary developer of Valencia, a master-planned community.
The Westridge project will include single-family houses, condominiums, a golf course and commercial development. Initial sales of residential lots are expected to begin in 1994, according to Newhall, which reported 1991 revenue of $152.2 million.
