Misleading War Story

We read with great interest the article titled “Condo Civil War,” which appeared in the Valley edition of The Times on Aug. 22. We appreciate the fact that The Times has brought to light the serious construction defects that we and other residents of the Chandler Park Village townhouse and condominium complex are trying to cope with.

The article left the impression that the homeowners are evenly divided concerning whether we should utilize legal means to obtain the money necessary to repair the defects. We believe only a small number of homeowners are opposed to the action we have taken. The vast majority believe legal action is the only way to resolve this situation, especially since the developer continues to deny that serious problems exist.

We believe the photographs accompanying the story speak for themselves as does the fact that our homes are only four years old.
