Bush OKs Relief Funds for Wisconsin, Indiana

President Bush authorized disaster relief funds Friday for Indiana and Wisconsin to help in the cleanup from severe storms, tornadoes and flooding.

In Wisconsin, the declaration of a major disaster will make federal funds available to the government of Dane County. The area was damaged by tornadoes and thunderstorms on June 17.

In Indiana, the declaration covers damage from tornadoes, storms and flooding from June 16 through July 23. Federal funds will be made available to local governments in 15 counties.
