Bradford Bachrach; Co-Owner of Portrait Photography Studio

Bradford Bachrach, 81, co-owner of a nationally known portrait photography studio in Boston. Bachrach was a grandson of David Bachrach, who founded Bachrach Studios in 1868, a few years after photographing the scene at Gettysburg when Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous speech. Bradford Bachrach was president of Bachrach Inc. from 1955 until his retirement in 1978. The company has photographed every American President since Abraham Lincoln, with Bachrach family members taking most of those portraits themselves. In Boston on Sept. 10.
