Utah Explosives Plant Hit by Blast and Fire

LEHI, Utah —
An explosion and fire ripped through a plant that makes explosives for mining Monday, moments after employees fled because they noticed that a batch of chemicals was overheating.
No one was injured among the three Ireco Inc. employees and a security guard at the plant. They had driven about 75 yards from the building when the explosion occurred, officials said.
