Those Colorful Geraniums Can Bloom Year After Year

Do you need something for a sunny flower bed? Something you won’t have to replace year after year? Plant geraniums! They’re colorful, require little care and need only moderate amounts of water once established in your garden.

Geraniums were brought to America in 1760 and soon became synonymous with home and hospitality. Pioneers brought the cuttings west along with other family treasures.

Geraniums have bright green foliage with lobed leaves. The plants grow between 18 and 24 inches in height with an equal spread. Frequent fertilizing with a good flower food will ensure heavy blooming throughout the growing season.
