Associated Press
ANN ARBOR, Mich. —
More than 50 vehicles piled up in three chain-reaction collisions on a fog-shrouded highway Wednesday and at least 25 people were injured, police said.
U.S. 23 was closed to northbound traffic by two pileups within about a mile of each other just south of the city. The third pileup occurred in southbound lanes.
The injured were taken to several hospitals. Four were seriously hurt, but none were in critical condition, police said.
