Retired NYU Official Charged in $4-Million Theft

NEW YORK —
A retired New York University administrator has been charged with stealing $4.1 million from the school by falsifying at least 1,000 tuition refund checks, the FBI announced. Dora Malfrici, 53, was arrested Wednesday along with her husband, Salvatore Malfrici, 60, at their home in Ft. Myers, Fla., where they moved after she retired in May.
