Anne Marden, who was fourth in the Barcelona Olympics, won the women’s singles division of the 28th Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River in Boston in 19 minutes 0.06 seconds. Greg Walker of the New York Athletic Club won the men’s singles in 17:42.43, and the Vesper Boat Club of Philadelphia won the men’s eights at 14:07.63.
