Air Safety Group Opens Office in Washington

WASHINGTON —
People who survived air disasters or had relatives killed in them announced Monday they are opening a Washington office to press their case for improved airline safety.
Sixty people from Japan, Britain, Canada and the United States met over the weekend to organize International Air Disaster Groups, a spokesman said. He said the organization plans offices in London; Osaka, Japan, and Ottawa as well.
