LETTERS IN VIEW : You Want to Keep the Good Life? Then Vote

I was completely disgusted by the defeatist attitudes presented in Kristina Sauerwein’s article on apathetic young voters.

Times like these have no room for people with “no hope for the country.”

In fact, this attitude greatly contributes to today’s economic situation. People, especially young people, should realize that their attitudes and overall contribution will greatly affect our country’s future.

People who believe that their votes won’t make a difference should bone up on the concept of democracy.

The day everyone gives up hope will be the day America will fall.
