* CROSBY’S RUGS: Four of Bing Crosby’s toupees have been discovered--in the library of his alma mater. The hairpieces were found earlier this fall in a box marked “Crosby toupees” that was sent to Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., during the late 1950s or early 1960s, said Stephanie Edwards, the university’s special collections librarian. The library had never fully catalogued all the items Crosby donated to the school, she said.
