No Limits on HIV Service

I would like to clarify information in your Oct. 18 article on Minorities and HIV/AIDS services.

While it is true that “Bienstar” is starting a Spanish-speaking support group at the newly founded Valley HIV/AIDS Center in Van Nuys (and we are very pleased with this), I want to make it clear that the Valley HIV/AIDS Center is a place that serves all Valley residents with HIV, regardless of their ethnic or racial background.

The Valley Center is the work of various social service agencies and provides mental health services, case management, resource information and various support groups.
