IRS May Still Have Your Refund: The Internal Revenue Service said it is looking for 81,000 taxpayers who have yet to receive their 1991 tax refunds. The refund checks, totaling $44 million, were returned to the IRS by the Postal Service because of incorrect addresses. If you were due a refund on a return filed earlier this year and have not received it, the IRS advises a call to (800) 829-1040.
