Youth : OPINION : Malcolm X: a Hero for Today?

I am Hispanic and I can relate to Malcolm X. For when he said that people try to be like others and never say what they feel, I stop and realize that I’m an example of what he said. I try to fit a certain look, like Malcolm “conked” his hair to look white. I see now that one must stand alone and accept the fact that each individual is unique in his own way. I believe many of us can relate to Malcolm’s life and this is why he is still important to us.
