Camarena Case
Enrique Camarena’s actions were directed toward keeping drugs away from thousands of children. For a doctor to keep a person alive so he may be tortured makes the doctor 100 times more guilty than the torturers.
I would be happy for my government to pay many times more than $2.7 million if it would result in justice for those criminals. There can be no excess of zeal regarding these matters.
If the United States failed to pursue every possible lead to punish all persons involved in the torture and murder, how safe would be the lives of other Americans working against the drug cartels?
