Fashion Show Keeps Patrons Guessing : Behind The Scenes

Diva, the ultra-cosmopolitan restaurant in Costa Mesa, proved the place to be last Friday night. At least that’s what unsuspecting diners probably thought when about a 100 fashion slaves invaded to view a Guess fashion show and toss back a few cocktails.

Guests patiently waited 90 minutes for the event to start.

When it finally did, the parade of models buzzed by so quickly that few got a chance to view them. Could the speed of the models be attributed to the pulsating live tribal beat of bongo ensemble Bamboo?

For those still wondering: A total of 18 outfits from the holiday and fall collections were on display, from collegiate casual to evening elegance. The place might be too small for a catwalk, but a small platform would have done the show justice.

Hats off to Carlton Hair International for bringing glamour by styling the models and the fabulously coiffed employees who attended.
