Troubled by Condition of Cemetery

Share

I found myself quite bothered by what is going on in the Hills of Peace Cemetery (“Sisters Campaign to Fix Up Cemetery,” Times Valley Edition, Nov. 16). I could not believe that the 10-acre graveyard is covered with dirt, weeds, not to mention that in 1978 heavy rain unearthed caskets and bodies into the neighbors yards.

I hope the State Cemetery Board finds the money to make the cemetery a nice place once again. When someone lives out their life, whether rich or poor, they should not end up being buried in a wasteland.
